Development Partnership

February 5, 2013

Water LaneSYRE and Coda Studios have teamed up to develop an old industrial site on Water Lane, South Normanton into a 39 town house estate.
The Chesterfield build is due to start in late summer 2013 and with outline planning permission already granted, both companies look forward to a busy Autumn. The development will use industry leading technology to ensure that the homes produced are of a high energy efficiency in line with the company values.

The 39 properties will be heated by two biomass boilers, feeding a district heating system, to run under floor heating on all floors of the 2 and 3 bedroom homes. For the purchaser, this will not only mean they are reducing their carbon foot print, but also that their heating bill will be fixed for five years and increase only in line with inflation thereafter.

Not only that, the majority of the houses will have solar photovoltaic panels on their roofs. These systems will provide free electricity and a tax free income through the governments Feed-in Tariff scheme.
